Getting through the week is a tough battle we regularly endure. It seems like every Monday towards the mid-week is so dragging that we tend to talk a lot about pizza, vacations, ice cold beer, puppies, summer, Adam Levine, unicorns, migrating to Mars, and of course, the WEEKEND! Despite the wishful thinking, we have to confront the reality of the situation that it is not yet Fri-YAY!

But here’s the catch: It’s FREAKIN’ WEDNESDAY! And while the week feels longer, it’s always a wise idea to cut the dreadful days and stuff a bit of inspiration in the middle. I’m pretty sure Wednesdays are placed in the middle for a good reason; and that’s to spice things up! In my latest attempt at challenging the mid-week drag, I combined the power of a washout get-up with a whip of black! My outfit comprises a thin knitted sleeveless top with light gray stripes, a pair of white straight-cut pants with a black belt, and black heeled shoes. This makes a full monochrome outfit with a touch of contrast, something that is minimal and sophisticated at the same time.

White, in this case, is one color that makes you feel light, clean, inspired or perhaps alive and kicking! Here’s a good advice: Take advantage of it! Show people that stress is just a word and show them that, no matter how many days you have to wait before the weekend, you’re still killin’ it!
