Mad for Plaid

No amount of weird stares could ever make me take off my plaid coordinates. To this day, I have given zero f*cks about wearing a coat in a tropical country where it’s scorching hot most days because fyi, “bagyo” season exists (note: people are even petitioning to cancel Valentine’s because of Basyang! 😅). Also, I admit I have a strange love for layering clothes. Now that I’ve redeemed myself, let’s talk about how plaid is taking the fashion industry by storm!! I don’t consider myself a slave to fashion but if it falls under my style radar, I’d take full advantage of it. In fact, plaid has always been a staple part of my wardrobe since time immemorial! Call me a walking table cloth, I swear i’ll take that as a compliment. 🙂 The thing about fashion is that we are simply borrowing trends from the past and tweaking it a bit to make it look “fresh” and modern! This is one reason I keep my vintage pieces like treasure. If this plaid madness should last a lifetime, then a long life I shall live!
