Parklane Advocates for Sustainability through the Tree of Gold
As Christmas day draws nearer, we commemorate through giving gifts, lighting of Christmas trees and attending masses. In the midst of all the seasonal obligations and celebrations, Parklane introduces and defines its advocacy for a liveable Cebu.
Throughout the year, Parklane has gathered tons of bedroom slippers used by hotel guests from Golden Peak Hotel, Alpa City Suites, Montebello Villa Hotel, Cebu White Sands and of course, their own to create a gigantic recycled tree. Lo and behold, the Tree of Gold that stands tall in the lobby of Parklane, Cebu.
It was a night of celebration and good vibes as dancers graced the massive space in the lobby to entertain everyone. The night would not have been complete without a message of hope and gratitude by our very own Vice Gov. Agnes Magpale. Now, the Tree of Gold continues to shine in Cebu’s very own Parklane as a symbol of our province and the hope for both progress and sustainability.

This Christmas, we present the Tree of Gold, a shining masterpiece which signifies Cebu Parklane International Hotel’s will to endure and flourish in the midst of change and competition. A representation of our steadfast commitment to be the hotel in Cebu that stands for Cebu.
For many years, we have been showcasing Christmas trees made of recycled materials: Our way of saying that by going green, we are creating a Cebu that is both progressive and liveable.
In light of Parklane’s continuing advocacy for a sustainable environment, we bring you this magnificent golden tree made of Hotel Bedroom Slippers: recycled, sanitized and painted with gold.
May this tree be a reminder that our tomorrows will always be filled with hope and opportunities for advancement.
