My Makeup Haul

I was lucky to be given the chance to pick from a wide variety of beauty goodies on BeautyMNL.com. The experimental side of me was quite strong at that time so I picked new lip colors, ones I’ve never tried. Let’s see how it went…

My first pick was the NYX Monte Carlo soft matte lip cream. My mom told me to try red on my lips because she thought it would look good on me. I never used red lipstick because I was stuck in the belief that red is synonymous with seduction. So there I was, trying to look seductive and all. LOL. Though looking seductive wasn’t my goal, red is a color I’d choose to look confident.

I was actually on a date, attending a party and going to a festival on the same day. Imagine all three events and I decided to dress like a goth. Hahaha. I have to say I was pleased with the results because the shade of red looked good during the day and night, which was a perfect pick for an all-day event.

If you plan to get this one, you may double-coat it to your liking, so you actually get the right amount of sultriness. 😉 I used only a thin single coat to balance it out with my gothic outfit. You can see how it is looking soft on my skin. In terms of feeling, I like how my lips feel moisturized with it while looking full and fresh! Go try it yourself! 🙂

My second pick was the NYX Stone Fox cream lipstick. It’s a bluish gray shade with a suede finish. As you can see, it’s one of those fun shades that you can wear to parties and wherever you please. Mind you, it looks just as it is presented on the website.

Like the red, it has moisturizing agents, so your lips don’t dry out. I would love to try this more often with a grunge look. This would be great with smokey eyes or you might want to play around with it. 🙂

My BeautyMNL Experience

I’m one of those few girls who don’t always shop online because I prefer to test products before actually purchasing them. It’s so easy to persuade someone to buy a lotion through a Facebook page, but what are the odds of getting a quality product just because the seller claims so?

BeautyMNL has been around for quite some time to know what we want. I’m pleased that all my online shop concerns have been already addressed at my first visit. If you’re just as curious as I am, this would sum up all your concerns.
