Ten years ago, my closet was filled with black clothes. I loved black so much that everyday looked like another trip to a funeral. People questioned and wondered, but being that young rebel, I had given zero fvcks. Although looking back, I always giggled knowing I was part of the “emo era,” it’s safe to say I was the queen of black wardrobe before everyone realized its glorious beauty.

Nowadays, it is a staple clothing color. Everyone wears it. No labels. No questions asked. I feel happy, I wear black. I feel hungry, I wear black. I feel mixed emotions, I wear black. When all else fails, paint it black.
