I live for the days I get to play dress up (or down?) and go get sushi with my other half. These days are too chill that I literally wore a swimsuit as an inner paired with a blush pink jacket because I wasn’t sure if I should cover up from the rain or go sunbathing.  It doesn’t really matter because if you’ve lived long enough in the Philippines, you know that the unpredictable weather calls for immediate outfit adjustments. While I’m still buttoning up my jacket to cross a rainy path, I wouldn’t be surprised if the sun decides to show up and test my patience. However, right now, I feel like I’m winning against the weather because I’ve mastered the art of dressing up for its unpredictability. In this case, I made a winning ensemble by pairing blush and black contrasting colors, and pieces fit for the cold and hot weather. There is a flattering impression that contrasting colors exude, pairs that complement each other despite being complete opposites.
